While we do not provide color samples, we do offer small 2oz RTS bottles and 1.5oz metal flake jars for purchase. We strongly advise buying a small amount before starting a large project to ensure the color meets your expectations.

While all our dry goods products can be shipped by plane, it's important to note that hazardous products such as paint are not permitted for air shipment.

Shipping and Delivery

Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to be processed. Once your order is ready to ship, you'll receive an email with the tracking number.

Delivery times vary: within the United States, expect delivery within 2 to 5 days; to Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom, delivery takes approximately 10 to 16 days; for other countries, delivery may take 15 to 25 days.

  • Mix Ratio
    For Dry Pearl you need to mix intercoat and reducer at a 1:1 ratio, then add the desired amount of pearls for your project. We recommend measuring the amount of pearls to ensure consistency if you need to replicate the color in the future.
  • Spray Over
    Spraying transparent pearls over different ground coat colors creates unique effects: dark ground coats intensify, while light ones soften the pearls.
  • Color Intensity
    Pearl colors vary depending on pearl color selected and choice of ground coat color.
  • Heat Resistant
    Up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Usage Guidelines
    • If you are using our Dry Pearls, first mix them into the Intercoat, then reduce the mixture 1:1 with Reducer.
    • We also offer pre-mixed Pearl options in Gallon, Quart, and Pint sizes. In these, the Pearl is already blended with Intercoat — you only need to reduce 1:1 with Reducer before spraying.
    • Our Spray Cans and Ready-to-Spray Bottles come fully prepared — no mixing or reducing needed, just shake and spray.

I’m not a professional painter. But on a motorcycle tank, oil tank, and side cover, I did a beautiful job. TheTropical Glitz base coat with the Spraymax 2k Glamour, turned out very nice. Usually I have sags and runs, but this stuff is really easy to spray.

Not quite the color i wanted on my current paint project but it will be used on some of the pinstriped art panels i paint/pinstripe. The purple berry blast prismatic flake i also got is just what i was looking for! As always Tropical Glitz had what i was looking for with good prices and fast shipping.
