Mix Ratio

Follow recommended flash times between coats for flawless results, as stated on the product label. Avoid application in warm environments or direct sunlight to prevent accelerated drying and potential cracking.
Spray Over

Suitable for solvent and waterborne base coat systems, and old paint coats dried according to the manufacturer's instructions (cleaned and sanded).
Color Intensity

Provides a crystal-clear, ultra-durable finish. The high gloss variant ensures immediate, deep shine without drips, with a gloss level of 88+ / -4 gloss units at a 20° measuring angle on completely dried basecoats.
Heat Resistant

Superior resistance to UV radiation, chemicals, and abrasion.
Application

Suitable for automotive refinishing projects, small touch-ups, spot repairs, and DIY paint jobs
Usage Guidelines

Protection Measures: Wear personal protection equipment (respiratory mask, gloves, goggles). For more information, see the safety data sheet.
Shake: Before activating, shake the can thoroughly for 2 minutes from when the mixing balls are heard.
Activate: Remove the red button from the cap, turn the can by 180°, fit the button onto the pin, turn the can upside down, and press the red button with the palm of your hand until it clicks into place.
Shake Again: After activating, shake the can thoroughly for another 2 minutes from when the mixing balls are heard.
Test Spray: Test spray and check compatibility with the surface and the color.
Spraying Distance: Maintain a spraying distance of 6 - 8 inches (15 - 20 cm).
Spray Passes: Apply 1-2 spray coats to achieve a dry film thickness of 1.6 mil (40 µm).
Flash-Off Time: Allow approximately 5 minutes of flash-off time between each spray coat.
Processing Conditions: Optimum application at 64°F - 77°F (18°C - 25°C) and a relative humidity of 40 - 60%.
Coverage: Approximately 5.4 - 8.1 sq ft (0.5 - 0.75 m²) per aerosol at an approximate dry film thickness of 1.2 - 2.0 mil (30 - 50 µm).
Drying: Dust dry in 20 minutes, dry to touch in 250 minutes, and ready for assembling after 8 - 24 hours (overnight).
Finish: After painting, turn the can upside down and spray the valve until empty.

I’m not a professional painter

I’m not a professional painter. But on a motorcycle tank, oil tank, and side cover, I did a beautiful job. TheTropical Glitz base coat with the Spraymax 2k Glamour, turned out very nice. Usually I have sags and runs, but this stuff is really easy to spray.

Not quite the color i wanted on my current paint project but it will be used on some of the pinstriped art panels i paint/pinstripe. The purple berry blast prismatic flake i also got is just what i was looking for! As always Tropical Glitz had what i was looking for with good prices and fast shipping.
