It was easy to apply and came out good for it being my first project in my garage highly recommend
Dux is hands down thee go to,in my experience. Definitely my preference anyhow. There's many other "sizing" on the market, THIS one stays consistent!for small jobs,I like the "quick set" and the slow formula for full size projects (cars) both preform exactly as they're intended to! And I steer away from anything, brand, that is water based, oils where it's at.I find that with the water based size, when it comes time to turn/spin leaf, it'll result in turns that just don't pop, they're more dull like. The water based will allow you to do quick on the spot fast(say at shows) however, unlike an oil based size, it doesn't have that millage or ability to build up(it lays thinner and dries quickly where the oil based has better properties by nature giving you almost a "cushion" like platform between your projects surface and the leafing and when turned it just works differently and gives a far more brilliant "turn" in appearance and also less likely for burn-thru. In my experience/opinion anyways!
Thanks Manny and the whole Glitz crew for what you do and the products you steadily provide us with for what we do, it'd be harder without you guys so keep up the good stuff🤘🏼
This color will look great on my latest chopper build
This color is sweet, I normally use royal purple light backed with galactic silver, this may be my go to now. Need to figure how to make it pop more.
I use these on a lexan rc body. Very nice.
Picture shows no justice, need sunlight, lots of it
Love this backing color. Use it on a lexan rc body on the hood. Didn't know how it would go on or look like. As this is not my main colors.
I used this product on the inside of a polycarbonate (lexan) rc body. I have used another product for the same use. Hornet promoter is by far smoother in spraying and applying to the body. I have a roll cage from a sprint car I need to use this sweet product on.
What is there to say? Phenomenal product. Sprayed over dark a dark metallic graphite as a base then Cosmic Black and floated this beautiful flake over the top and a sweet euro clear to seal it up.
Absolutely gorgeous colors. Just the right amount of intercoat to float the flake and give it depth. Remarkable colorshift to blend with the cosmic black flakes. A veritable cornucopia of colors that reflect the LED's in my interior. I will continue to use Tropical Glitz for any future builds. Hopefully they'll send me a banner to rep their products way up north. Lol. Great company, great products.
Sprays flawlessly as usual. Excellent consistency, never have to stop to clear the airbrush.
Bought as samples for adding to my 71 C-10 family voted for deco blue flake very nice i would like 25 percent of flake added because I prefer the paint to stand out and as you get closer then the flake pops at you
Im building my new paint booth still by February I'll be painting
I need to know how many coats of this clearcoat can be spray on one job I'll have granite gold leaf silver also ?
Used it for a base coat under a blood red candy and it turned out awesome
Color is gorgeous. I did it on a white background and it was beautiful but so much more vibrant with a black.
This is a wonderfull paint to spray, goes on smooth. For spray can paint its top shelf!
Love your colors so easy to spray and clean out of my airbrush
I’m in the process of sampling coatings from various sources for a current hot rod build. At this point, Tropical Glitz is at the top of my list. I’ve been playing with Cosmic Gold using various ground colors in an attempt to get the effect I’m looking for. I’ve found their coating to be very user friendly and a high quality product. I’ll be using both their Cosmic Gold for accent pieces and their Black Cherry for the main color. These guys ship quickly and respond quickly to questions and concerns. Very happy with both the products and the service.
Great colors and the easy of application. I will be trying out colors and products for my shop. So if you could send more product info that would be great. Thanks
