The PROXL® 2K High-Gloss Clear Coat is a professional-grade, isocyanate-based 2K clear lacquer that delivers an exceptional crystal-clear finish with outstanding gloss retention and scratch resistance. Designed for easy activation and application, this high-performance clear coat can be mechanically polished after just 24 hours, ensuring a smooth and durable finish.

Equipped with the unique Vari-nozzle, users can adjust the spray pattern, providing optimal control and flexibility for any project. With temperature resistance up to 120°C and a fast-drying formula, this 2K aerosol clear coat is perfect for professional automotive refinishing, restoration, and protective topcoat applications.

While we do not provide color samples, we do offer small 2oz RTS bottles and 1.5oz metal flake jars for purchase. We strongly advise buying a small amount before starting a large project to ensure the color meets your expectations.

Shipping and Delivery

Delivery times vary: within the United States, expect delivery within 2 to 5 days; to Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom, delivery takes approximately 10 to 16 days; for other countries, delivery may take 15 to 25 days.

Usage Guidelines
Surface Preparation
- Ensure the basecoat (solvent or water-based) is fully dry before application.
- Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly to remove contaminants.
- Carry out a test spray on a sample panel before full application.
Can Activation
- Remove the cap from the base of the can.
- Insert the metal ring into the lug at the base.
- Pull the ring fully down (10mm) and turn 360° to release the activator.
- Shake the aerosol for at least 2 minutes after the agitator ball moves freely.
Application Instructions
- Spray Distance: 250mm from the surface.
- Coating: Apply 2-3 coats with a total film thickness of 50μm.
- Flash Time: Allow 2 minutes between coats for optimal adhesion.
Post-Application
- After use, turn the can upside down and spray to clear the nozzle.
- Once activated, use within 24 hours for best performance.
- For optimal results, maintain a working temperature of 20-25°C and a relative air humidity of 45-60%.
- High humidity may result in gloss loss.
