I work in a personal body shop in town have my own toners/bank and all but customer wanted to use Tropical glitz so enough about me here is my review. To start off color is awesome quality of paint guessing not so much since its not uv resistant , i got a quart of basecoat that still had to be reduced. Yet without it being reduces it was so thin and diluted i had to spray about 7 coats over white primer to get full coverage. it got to the point where i reduced it not 1:1 but 2:1. To sum it up awesome color bad quality paint and horrible coverage. I don’t recommend doing big jobs with this color small would definitely work.

Followed directions perfectly and clear didn’t harden correctly. I have used numerous other brands and had get success but this brand seems to be weird. Two cans had same results. 75deg booth temp,almost zero humidity, two coats done 1 hour apart. Almost as if the activator/hardener just failed. Maybe defective cans… not what was expected.
Our latest project / 77 Jeep CJ5 Resto. We decided to step outside the box and push the edge of envelope a bit. In the past we've been putting flake in the initial Clear Coat. This tie we used Tropical Glitz Intercoat Clear. Results we brilliant. Easy to use, spray flawlessly, no issues. We used a combo of 3 flakes both .004 & .008. Brilliant Results! CR Nuts Motorsports

Love the color, love how easy it was to spray, love how consistent it was. This was the first paint job I have done and it looks so good. 2 coats primer, 4 coats paint, 3 coats clear. Would recommend again and again.
